blog post 1

I think that man are born not made. If a baby is born with a penis then its a boy. So what if its smaller then normal he can do things to make it bigger later on in life.I don't think that doctors have the right to tell you that your have to change the sex of the baby boy because his size doesn't match up with a normal baby boy. A boy should be happy with his size and not care about what other guys say or think because if another guy is checking out my size there is something wrong there. And it has been proven that a guy only needs 3 inches to pleasure a woman. A guy should choose what sex he wants to be a girl or boy but that should be his choose not the doctors.

    Your post touches on the issue of ethics, and whether doctors have to right to intervene and 'correct' what they deem to be not up to 'normal' standards. Also, you note pleasure- men pleasure women- and as Fausto-Sterling mentions in her article, doctors are not concerned with pleasure, when they make decisions regarding changing a baby's sex. Last but not least, isn't it also about the man's pleasure, not only about man's ability to pleasure others? Who gets to define what is a man?
